Mamma's Little Helper

Dear Elzora,

I just wanted to say thank you for helping me so much around the house. I don't know what I would do without your help.

Love you,

Abstract Santa

Dear Elzora,

When I posted the holiday photos I forgot to include my very favorite picture. This is the drawing you did of Santa (tomten på sveska). It's amazing. I am certain that Santa loved it, too.

BTW, if you are reading this on Facebook and would like to visit either Elzora's blog or Starla's blog the links are below.

Love,
Mommy

Chrismtas 2009 Revisited

Dear Elzora,

Okay, yes, it is February 1, 2010 and I am just getting around to posting our holiday photos. It was a terrific holiday filled with lots of food, family and fun. I think that both you and Starla had a fabulous time. This was the first Christmas where you really understood what was happening. We had so much fun. Thank you to all of our family and friends that helped make this such a spectacular holiday celebration. Mommy would like to send a very special thank you to both Liisa and Pascha for the wonderful and generous packages from the US. We love you both so very, very much and we are counting the days until we can be with you and your families again.

Love,

Mommy

Dirty 30!

Dear Elzora,

Mom hasn't blogged so much lately but don't worry, I will get back on the blog bus soon. But I just can't hold off any longer on writing about one event that happened last month that was very, very important. Our bestest Papa turned 30!

When our friend Amanda turned 30 she kept referring to it as her "dirty thirty" and even got a cool cherry tattoo to commemorate the event. We hope papa can get some more tattoos soon. We know how much he loves them.

Happy Birthday, Papa Andreas.
We love you!
Happy Party!!

Love,
Mommy

PS Hopefully we will see Amanda and her mask-making man one day soon.

Foxy Lady!

Dear Elzora,

This morning we were running late for a 10am fika date when you told me to look outside. I thought it was just another deer or a cat at the bird feeder. When I looked my first thought was "Wow, that's a big cat!" But of course it was a beautiful fox. Papa said he saw a hare this morning coming down from the forest when he went to work. The animals are really having a hard time finding food when it is so cold out and there is so much snow. It's hard to watch, but spring will be here before we know it. Good luck little animals!

Mommy
